A Word from our former managing direCtor, MEGAN PATTERSON:

It’s impossible for me to put into words what Noor Theatre and this job has meant to me over the years. When I accepted my role 7 years ago, I never could have known the impact this organization and community would have on me.

Throughout my time with the company, Noor’s community has made a point to welcome me with open arms and I’ll be forever changed by that. It’s been an honor to represent this company and I hope that my efforts have had even a small impact on those we’ve served.

With every reading, workshop and production, I’ve been in awe of the artistry and depth of the stories being told. I’ve had the privilege to listen in on conversations that were vulnerable and deeply personal and I’m so grateful for that. I can’t begin to count the number of times I’ve been moved beyond words watching this community at work.

While it’s hard to step away, I’m so thrilled to make space for Ariana as the new Executive Director as she continues Noor’s work. She’ll be an amazing addition to the team and I’m so excited to see what she does in this role as she brings new life and vision to the organization.

To the rest of the team - Lameece, Kate, Salma, Sivan, Nilou - I want to thank you with all my heart for your continued work, dedication and support. Each of you have inspired and uplifted me and I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve given me - both personally and professionally. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without you and I consider myself incredibly lucky to know each of you and to be walking away with friendships like these.

I’m so thrilled to see this new chapter of Noor unfold. I’ll forever be supporting from afar and I’m eager to see how this community continues to grow in meaningful ways.
